Both team sit mid-table with eight points apiece. Scotland 7s head coach, Graham Shiel, said: “This is a tough tournament with very strong teams, but our team is new to international sevens and they have stepped up to the challenge and competed well. “Everyone has definitely taken positives away from today and despite the score the players performed very well against a quality England side. One of the major positives from the day was that captain, Andrew Skeen, was second top points scorer with three tries and nine conversions. Also, eight of the 12 players managed to touch down on at least one occasion.
