Broughton Rugby Will Field 3 Xv’S This Saturday For The First Time In Well Over A Decade
1st XV kick off their Scottish Hydro Electric East Region League Div 1 campaign away to Portobello RFC at Cavalry Park (3pm kick-off).The resurgence of the Club is epitomised by the re-introduction of a Broughton 2nd XV and they travel to Biggar to face their 3s in the East Region 6 Reserve League. A fine blend of experience and raw new recruits will be on show in another 3pm ko.Last, but by no means least, history will be made at Grangemouth RFC tomorrow when Broughton WRFC take the field for their first ever game against Grangemouth WRFC. The match, which kicks off at 2pm, will feature Hannah Foley living the dream of playing for her new Club prior to heading back home to New Zealand.So, no excuse for going to Ikea, sitting in the house watching another re-run of Zulu on the telly – you have a choice of THREE Broughton matches to watch this Saturday!
