Earlier today Edinburgh Rugby announced that the 74 times capped Paterson was leaving the club by mutual consent and with immediate effect. Edinburgh Rugby’s media statement noted: Chris has been a loyal servant to the club over the past nine seasons including three as club captain and leaves to take on a new challenge with Gloucester.
