Glasgow Warriors claim U18 inter-city derby
Glasgow Warriors won the second leg of the U18 inter-city derby 55-33 against Edinburgh Rugby U18 at Scotstoun Stadium on Sunday, claiming the trophy with a 91-54 aggregate win.
Glasgow had previously claimed the first leg 36-21 at Hive Stadium the weekend before.
Tries from Nicky Thompson, Max Garry, Logan Williams (2), Archie McMichael, Harry Provan, Rory Purvis (2) and Oliver McKenna were enough to secure Warriors the win.
Edinburgh replied with tries of their own from Harrison Wood, Rory Brogan, Chris Thomson, Michael Connor and Daniel Kelly.
Scotland U18 Head Coach Ross Miller will now select a development squad in the next stages of the U18 FOSROC Academy programme.
The development squad will meet throughout February for training sessions before playing fixtures in March.
Scotland U18 will then travel to Parma, Italy for the U18 Six Nations Festival between 27 March – 7 April, where they will play three games.
