Davidson will reach the milestone as Assistant Referee 2 at the England v Wales match at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 10 February 2024 (kick-off 4.45pm). She will work with James Doleman (Referee), Ben O’Keeffe (Assistant Referee 1) and Brendon Pickerill (TMO) during the second round of the annual tournament.

This appointment comes off the back of another successful year for Davidson who was part of the officiating group for three full international warm up matches prior to the 2023 Rugby World Cup in Bucharest, Lisbon and Twickenham and was the only female referee called up for the 2023 World Rugby U20 Championship.

In 2022, Davidson became the first female to officiate a men’s Six Nations team in a test match when Portugal took on Italy.

Davidson follows in the footsteps of Mike Adamson and Ben Blain who have previously officiated at the Guinness Six Nations.

Following the announcement, Hollie said: “It is a huge honour to be named as one of the assistant referees for the 2024 Guinness Six Nations.

“Being the first female official in Scotland to do so is something I’m immensely proud of.

“To be involved in such an internationally renowned fixture is something I’m massively looking forward to and I can’t wait to start off 2024 at such an exciting tournament.”
