Inspiring Scotland Through Women’s And Girl’s Rugby

In response to Scottish Rugby’s strategic plan, ‘Inspiring Scotland Through Rugby – The Journey to 2016’, Scottish Rugby have arranged a women’s and girl’s rugby conference on Saturday 10 November. ? ?The conference, which will take place at the Edinburgh Conference Centre at Heriot-Watt University from 9.30am, will look at the current status of the women’s and girl’s game in Scotland, future developments and how lessons can be learned from other countries.??Two members from the adult section and two from the youth section of women’s clubs are invited, as are representatives from schools who offer girl’s rugby.Speakers on the day, include Scottish Rugby’s chief executive, Mark Dodson; President, Alan Lawson; Scotland Women’s 7s head coach, Scott Forrest and IRB women’s development officer, Susan Carty, plus many more.Details of the venue, including how to get there, are available at www.edinburgh-conference.com.
