It’S A Full House For Scotland V France

Scottish Rugby is pleased to confirm today that for the first time since Murrayfield Stadium was redeveloped in 1994, the Scotland v France match has sold-out. Next Sunday’s match will have a capacity attendance, 67,144, just as the Calcutta Cup match did earlier this month. Scotland captain Ross Ford today thanked fans for their support. He told www.scottishrugby.org today: “We’re really grateful to the Scotland fans.  It’s humbling to know that our fellow countrymen and women are right behind us.”    Scottish Rugby’s Director of Communications and Public Affairs Dominic McKay added: “We are delighted to have sold-out our two home Scotland matches in this season’s RBS 6 Nations Championship. The feedback we received following our enhanced match-day entertainment that we introduced at the game against England has also been very supportive. “Once again supporters will be entertained pre-match by pipes and drums, a brass band, Kilter, Sambalistic and Clann An Drumma, while the Red Hot Chilli Pipers will play in the stadium itself. “Thanks again to all our supporters for their continued backing of the Scotland team.” The match against France kicks-off at 3pm on Sunday 26 February and will be preceded by a come and try rugby skills zone on the artificial pitch behind the West Stand, in addition to the musical entertainment.Spaces for the Murrayfield car park are also selling fast.  They cost£25 each and can be bought online via this website.
