LOCHIE SCAVENGER HUNT PRIZE DRAW
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Lochie Scavenger Hunt Prize Draw is organised by Scottish Rugby Limited.
Entries must be submitted by an adult (parent or guardian) on behalf of a child. The adult submitting the entry agrees to being bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The Lochie Scavenger Hunt Prize Draw is open to children who will be between the ages of five (5) and eleven (11) years on 18 April 2026. Scottish Rugby reserves the right to request proof of age, identity and eligibility to enter the Prize Draw.
Scottish Rugby will collect some personal data from you when you submit an entry to the Prize Draw. This will be restricted to your child’s full name, age and your full name and contact details (including postcode and email address) so that we may contact you if your child is a winner and to send the prize. We also ask for your postcode or county to allow Scottish Rugby to comply with its legal obligations set out in condition 6.4 and 6.5. - The Promoter
The Promoter of this Prize Draw is Scottish Rugby Limited, a company incorporated in Scotland with registered number SC132061 and having its registered office at Murrayfield, Edinburgh EH12 5PJ (the “Promoter”).
- The Prize Draw
- These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Lochie Scavenger Hunt Prize Draw” being promoted on the Promoter’s official website Home – Scottish Rugby, official social media channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and X formerly known as Twitter) and the Scottish Rugby electronic newsletter (“the Prize Draw”).
- To enter the Prize Draw, Entries (as defined at condition 4) must be submitted by an adult on behalf of an Entrant (as defined at condition 3.1), to the Promoter in accordance with conditions 3 and 4. The adult should be the Entrant’s parent or guardian. Any Entries submitted to the Promoter in any other manner or medium will be disqualified from the Prize Draw. Only one Entry per child is permitted.
- The opening date for Prize Draw Entries is 18 April 2026 at 00:01. Entries must comply with the conditions set out in conditions 3 and 4 and any Entries that do not comply (in the sole opinion of the Promoter) will be disqualified from the Prize Draw.
- The Prize Draw will close on 18 April 2026 at 23:59 (“the Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified from the Prize Draw.
- The Promoter accept no responsibility for Entries not successfully completed, is lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
- Three (3) winners will be chosen on 20 April 2026 by random draw performed by an automated process.
- The parent or guardian of the winner will be notified that their child is the winner of the Prize Draw in accordance with condition 6.

- By submitting a Prize Draw Entry, you as the parent or guardian of the Entrant, are agreeing (a) to be bound by these Terms and Conditions; (b) to your child being entered into the Prize Draw; (c) if your child is a winner, to your child’s name, age, relationship to you and image being recorded; (d) to your child’s first name and/or image being published for promotional purposes by the Promoter and to allow the Promoter to comply with its obligations set out at conditions 6.4 and 6.5 unless you advise the Promoter otherwise. The adult completing the Entry must provide their own contact details (not the child’s) when entering the Prize Draw.
- Eligible Entrants
- An “Entrant” is a child whose parent or guardian has submitted, on the child’s behalf, the correct word to the Prize Draw in accordance with condition 4. As the Entrant will be aged between five (5) and eleven (11) years, their parent or guardian must complete the actual submission on the Entrant’s behalf and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- The Prize Draw is open to all children aged between five (5) and eleven (11) years of age on 18 April 2026.
- Winners must be comfortable running onto the pitch at Murrayfield without their parent or guardian and participating in pre-match activities.
- Entrants must be resident in the United Kingdom.
- The Prize Draw is not open to employees of the Promoter or their immediate family or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Prize Draw.
- In entering the Prize Draw, the Entrant’s parent or guardian on behalf of the Entrant confirms that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize (as defined in condition 5 below) if the Entrant is a winner. The Promoter may require the Entrant’s parent or guardian to provide proof that the Entrant is eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
- The Promoter will not accept Prize Draw Entries that are:
- automatically generated by computer;
- completed by third parties or in bulk;
- illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
- photocopies and not originals; or
- Entries
- To enter the Prize Draw, the Entrants must find each of the Lochie cardboard cutouts at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Each Lochie cardboard cutout has one letter, together the letters spell a word.
- Once the Entrants have located all the Lochie cardboard cutouts and found all of the letters, their parent or guardian will need to click the link relating to the Prize Draw found on the Promoter’s official website Home – Scottish Rugby, official social media channels or the Scottish Rugby electronic newsletter, which will take them to an electronic form that needs to be completed. In completing the form, the parent or guardian must include the word found by their child at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, their child’s full name, age and the parent or guardian’s full name and contact details (including postcode and email address).
- The Prizes
- One winner of the Prize Draw will receive the following Prize:
- a Scottish Rugby Mascot Experience at the Women’s Scotland vs France rugby game on Saturday 7 May 2026, kick off at 16:15 which includes;
- three “Category 1” tickets (which includes one for the mascot) to the Women’s Scotland vs England rugby game on Saturday 7 May 2026, kick off at 16:15 (subject to the Promoter’s standard ticketing terms and conditions);
- Mascot kit to includean embroidered Scottish Rugby t-shirt, joggers, gym sack, and beanie;
- one £15 food and drink voucher to be used in the Fanzone at the Women’s Scotland vs France rugby game on Saturday 7 May 2026 (not valid on alcohol);
- the right to purchase two further tickets for the to the Women’s Scotland vs France rugby game on Saturday 7 May 2026, kick off at 16:15 (subject to the Promoter’s standard ticketing terms and conditions);
- Mascot autograph session with players in the team tunnel;
- a selection of digital images post match taken by our mascot photographer on the day;
- photocall with Lochie; and
- the winner’s name being featured in the Match Day Programme.
- Two winners of the Prize Draw will each receive four (4) tickets to the Women’s Scotland vs England rugby game on Saturday 7 May 2026, kick off at 16:15 (subject to the Promoter’s standard ticketing terms and conditions).
- The Prize does not include the cost of travel to and from the Murrayfield Stadium, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner’s parent or guardian.
- No Prize is transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
- All Prizes are supplied by the Promoter.
- The Promoter reserve the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
- The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- Notification of winning Entries and shortlist of Entries
- The winners’ parent or guardian will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) the week commencing 20 April 2026 that their child is a winner. The Prize or instructions on how to receive the Prize will be sent to the winners’ parent or guardian by the Promoter within (five) 5 days of being notified that their child is a winner.
- If a winner’s parent or guardian does not respond to the Promoter within five (5) days of being notified by the Promoter or if a winner is unable to accept any element of the Prize due to ineligibility, the Prize in its entirety will be withdrawn and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process set out at condition 2.6.
- The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of a winner, other than a parent or guardian claiming a Prize on behalf of their child.
- The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winners to anyone who writes to the Promoter at the address set out in condition 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the Prize Draw.
- If you as the parent or guardian of a winner objects to either or both of your child’s surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the Promoter will not provide the information to members of the public, but must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority (“ASA”) on request by the ASA, to comply with our legal obligation to do so.
- Data protection
- As part of submitting an Entry to the Prize Draw, an Entrant’s parent or guardian is required to submit certain personal details, including their name, and contact details including an email address, and postcode or county as well as the Entrant’s first name and age.
- The legal basis for which the Promoter will collect personal data in respect of Entrants are (i) its legitimate interest of administering the Prize Draw, and (ii) to comply with its legal obligations in respect of prize draws.
- The Promoter will use the personal data of Prize Draw Entrants and their parent or guardian as follows:
- to contact the winners’ parent or guardian and to send the Prize to them;
- to contact an alternative winner’s parent or guardian and to send the Prize to them if a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time; and
- to comply with the legal obligation to provide the winners’ surname and county in response to requests for this information from third parties, subject to conditions 6.4 and 6.5.
- The Promoter will comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation when collecting and otherwise processing personal data in connection with this Prize Draw. Any such personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy – Scottish Rugby.
- General
- These Terms and Conditions and this Prize Draw are governed by the laws of Scotland. By entering into this Prize Draw, each parent or guardian of an Entrant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
- The parent or guardian of an Entrant is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon submitting an Entry to the Prize Draw on behalf of an Entrant.
- The Promoter reserve the right to disqualify any Entries that breach theseTerms and Conditions or any Entries that, in the sole opinion of the Promoter, are in any way obscene, violent, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful or would damage the reputation of the Promoter. Where the Promoter disqualifies any Entrants in accordance with this condition 8.3, the Promoter shall remove any affected Entries from the Prize Draw.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this Prize Draw at any time. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice by posting changes to Home – Scottish Rugby. The Promoter will only notify the Entrants’ parent or guardian of changes if the Promoter is required to do so by law.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any Entrant or an Entrant’s parent or guardian or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering the Prize Draw or taking up a Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or that of its employees, agents or distributors. Your statutory rights are not affected.
