Scottish Rugby and their kit supplier, Canterbury of New Zealand, today reveal the new official Scotland home jersey to be worn at this year’s Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests. The new home jersey will make its debut when Scotland take on Fiji at Murrayfield next month (Saturday 14 November 2009). It will also be worn in the subsequent fixtures against Australia (21 November 2009) and Argentina on (Saturday 28 November). Scotland head coach, Andy Robinson OBE, said: “We are all looking forward to starting our international campaign against Fiji next month, when supporters will see the Scotland team in our new jersey for the first time.” Craig Vartan, senior product manager from Canterbury, said: “The new Scotland home jersey is constructed with a combination of high performance fabrics that are strong, lightweight and breathable. Key features of the jersey include the asymetric neck design that helps prevent scragging as well as a special grip material on the shoulders and torso that enhances binding and gripping of the ball.”Fans will be able to show their support for the Scotland team by buying the new kit. It will be available from sports shops and selected retailers at prices from£40.00 for children and£50.00 for adults. The new jersey is available via Scottish Rugby’s official retail partner, Greaves Sports, by logging on to www.scottishrugbydirect.com. Greaves Sports managing director, Sandy Greaves, said:  “We’re confident the new kit will be a big hit with the fans as well as the players and are looking forward to a great Autumn Test series.”  Our picture shows Scotland and Edinburgh team-mates Chris Paterson and Phil Godman at the kit launch at the Greaves Sports Superstore at Murrayfield Stadium.
