The Nations Championship sees the world’s best teams from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres go head-to-head across two connected series: three rounds in July (replacing the old summer tours) and three rounds in November (replacing the old autumn tests). As Scotland’s ‘away’ fixture against Fiji in July is being played at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, this year’s Nations Championship range of multi-match packages includes this game as well as the ‘home’ games against New Zealand, Australia and Japan in November.

The fixtures coming to Scottish Gas Murrayfield
Fiji v Scotland Saturday 18 July, 2:10pm
The “Flying Fijians” are bringing their signature flair to the Northern Hemisphere, playing their home games in Cardiff, Liverpool, and right here in Edinburgh. While Scotland secured a convincing 57-17 victory the last time these sides met at Murrayfield in 2022, Fiji claimed the most recent bragging rights with a 29-14 win in Suva last summer.

Scotland v New Zealand Saturday 7 November, 2:10pm
The All Blacks return to Scottish Gas Murrayfield following a pulse-pounding encounter in 2025. Last year’s clash was a classic; Scotland produced a stirring comeback from 17 points down to level the scores in the final quarter, only for the visitors to snatch victory in the dying minutes. Expect another epic as Scotland looks to finally topple the triple world champions.

Scotland v Australia Sunday 15 November, 3:10pm
As the countdown to the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia continues, the Wallabies will arrive in Edinburgh, currently ranked 7th in the world. Memories are still fresh of November 2024, when captain Sione Tuipulotu, playing in front of his grandmother who traveled from Australia for the occasion, led Scotland to a memorable 27-13 win.

Scotland v Japan Saturday 21 November, 2:10pm
Japan returns to the capital for the first time in five years, seeking to avenge their 29-20 defeat from their last visit. The “Brave Blossoms” are a team on the rise, having finished as runners-up in last year’s Pacific Nations Cup and recently claiming a major win against Wales. This final round fixture will be crucial for Nations Championship table positions.
