Tonight’s Arnold Clark Men’s Premiership action sees Watsonians welcome Selkirk to Myreside, with both sides on the hunt for a win following their defeats last weekend (Friday 28 November, kick-off 7.35pm) – live on BBC ALBA.

Hosts Watsonians, who currently sit in third place on the table, will be looking to return to their winning ways and make amends following a 29-17 defeat against Kelso last weekend.

The previous encounter between the two sides in August saw Watsonians claim a comprehensive 14-48 victory against Selkirk at Philiphaugh.

Although Selkirk have only clinched two wins so far, the side will be looking to build on some of the positives within recent performances and will be aiming to turn their form around.

Four things to watch out for this weekend:

  • This weekend sees a Borders derby between Hawick and Kelso at Mansfield Park, with the last clash between the sides resulting in a narrow 14-10 victory for Kelso.
  • Heriot’s will have an opportunity to continue their fight for reaching the top four of the table but will have a tough contest ahead against league leaders Ayr, who haven’t lost a match this season.
  • In the Arnold Clark Women’s Premiership, Watsonians take on Stirling County, with both sides having a chance to test themselves before facing each other in the league final on Saturday 13 December.
  • This Saturday sees a clash in the capital as Corstorphine go head-to-head against Heriot’s Women, as the Edinburgh sides will be looking to end their season on a high.
