The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity is the official charity partner of Glasgow Warriors. The charity fundraise to ensure that every baby, child and young person treated at Scotland’s largest children’s hospital receives the extra special care they deserve.
The Warriors support Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity with visits to the hospital, tickets for games and merchandise to help their fundraising, and will also provide social media support around their events and campaigns.
Fundraising Campaign
In 2023/24 Glasgow Warriors launched the Fighting for our Families campaign and raised £53,971 in its first year. The Club, along with rugby clubs, supporters and sponsors, raised more than double the amount of money for the children’s hospital than in each of the the six years of the partnership before that.
This season, Glasgow Warriors and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity want to go a step further and raise £85,000 together.
Players, staff, coaches, supporters, and now clubs and sponsors are all invited to get involved with this campaign and help to break this fundraising target.
Having fought our way to a valuable bonus point win over Munster last weekend, Franco Smith’s squad will be chasing another crucial win in the race for the BKT United Rugby Championship playoffs against South African side, Emirates Lions.
With the Lions also in the playoff hunt and with a reputation for some of the league’s most exciting attacking rugby, the stage is set for a showdown not to be missed.
