Teams announced for second leg of U18 inter-city derby
26 Nov 2025Glasgow Warriors U18 host Edinburgh Rugby U18 at Scotstoun Stadium tomorrow in the second leg of the U18 inter-city derby.
Glasgow were 36-21 winners in the first leg at Hive Stadium last weekend.
Selected from the FOSROC Regional Academy sides which played a festival across December and January, the two teams play the matches as part of the U18 development programme.
The fixtures come before Scotland travel to Parma, Italy for the U18 Six Nations Festival between 27 March – 7 April.
Edinburgh U18 Coach Bruce Frame said: “We thought it was a competitive game which was good. Obviously they came out on the right side of the scoreboard but we put our defence on the line which was quite good.
“Obviously the points deficit is one thing, we need to make up 15 points to take the trophy and we currently hold that so there’s a lot at stake for the game on Sunday.
“We’re disappointed that we couldn’t get a win at home. The challenge is to see if we can pick ourselves back up mentally to go to their home ground and change the dynamic of last week and get an early ascendancy.”
