EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND - APRIL 26: Scotland players celebrate with fans at full time during a Guinness Women's Six Nations match between Scotland and Ireland at The Hive Stadium, on April 26, 2025, in Edinburgh, Scotland. (Photo by Ewan Bootman / SNS Group) With just two weeks to go until our Women’s team face the Red Roses in the Guinness Women’s Six Nations at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, anticipation is building fast, and the momentum shows no sign of slowing.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store on matchday:
The Great Lochie Scavenger Hunt is a stadium-wide adventure designed to celebrate our record-breaking crowd by taking you on a journey around the home of Scottish Rugby. From the Oor Doddie Statue to the Hive Stadium Tunnel, Lochie has eight dedicated check-in points to hide vital clues across the grounds. Each station holds a single letter; your task is to explore the stadium, find our team members and collect all eight pieces of the puzzle. Once you have unscrambled the mystery word, simply scan the QR code at any location to enter our digital prize ballot. Successful participants will be in with a chance to win the either matchday tickets or the Ultimate Mascot Experience, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for one lucky child aged between 5-11 to lead the team out against France this May. With additional prizes handed out by our very own Lochie, there has never been a better reason to arrive early and soak up the atmosphere.
Before the big game Scottish Rugby is hosting one of its Turn Up & Play events right here on the back pitches at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. This is a free, drop-in rugby taster sessions for kids to have fun and get involved. Turn Up & Play is non-contact, fun, friendly and requires no prior rugby experience to get involved.
You can see more including kids’ reactions to taking part here.
Setting the tone ahead of kick-off, Cammy Barnes will take centre stage with a live pre-match performance, proudly presented by Vodafone. Known for his high energy and ability to connect with crowds, Cammy’s performance promises to be the perfect start to what is shaping up to be a landmark occasion for both his career and the women’s game, bringing sport and music together in front of a passionate home crowd.
