Oasis Live ’25 arrives in Edinburgh!

5 Aug 2025

Scottish Gas Murrayfield is hosting the second concert of its centenary year as Oasis Live ’25 lands in the capital on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Tuesday 12 August.

The band ended years of feverish speculation with last year’s confirmation of a run of UK and Ireland shows, forming the domestic leg of the Oasis Live ’25 world tour.

Shows have already taken place in Cardiff, London and Manchester, with Dublin to follow a week later. The band will then embark on the international leg of the tour, with concerts in the USA, Canada, Australia, Asia and South America.

The Murrayfield Campus hosts over 50 major events per year. Ranging from sold-out Scotland international rugby matches at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, matches at Hive Stadium for Edinburgh Rugby, Scotland Women and U20, community rugby finals days for adult and youth competitions, corporate and business conferences and national fundraising events such as Kiltwalk and Men’s 10k and of course concerts.

All events are supported by The Safety Advisory Group, a multi-agency group chaired by City of Edinburgh Council, and includes Scottish Rugby, emergency services, transport providers, and security/medical teams. All Safety Advisory Group partners prioritise safety at every event.

Mark Laidlaw, Director of Stadium Development & Operations at Scottish Rugby, said: “We are really excited that the week has come for the long-awaited Oasis Live’25 tour to hit Scotland. I would like to thank DF Concerts for choosing Scottish Gas Murrayfield as the best venue in the country for this iconic show. We are proud to have the largest stadium in Scotland, and it provides the perfect opportunity for as many Oasis fans as possible to see this much anticipated reunion.

“A year’s worth of planning has gone into this event from ourselves, the promoters and all of our partners. I’d like to specifically thank City of Edinburgh Council for its continued support across numerous areas to ensure we can deliver major events of this scale. We understand how important this moment is, not just for the fans, who I am sure are incredibly excited, but also for Edinburgh and Scotland as a whole. All our events make a valuable economic contribution to Scotland, with concerts being one of the key drivers.”

What’s Next at Murrayfield

Following Oasis Live ’25, music fans can look forward to the AC/DC Power Up Tour just a week later. Preparations will then begin for the 2025 Quilter Nations Series, followed by the Men’s, U20s and Women’s Six Nations in the new year. This includes Scotland Women making a historic move into Scottish Gas Murrayfield for their match against England.
