A successful start to Papa John’s Tartan Touch 2023

18 May 2023

Papa John’s Tartan Touch has kicked off for 2023 with more hubs than ever!  More than 2800 people have played across the country in the first two weeks of the programme, from primary school pupils to pensioners, and from first team talents to total beginners. The fun, social and non-competitive ethos of Papa John’s Tartan Touch means it’s perfect for everyone of any age and ability.

Mhairi High from Islay spoke about the social aspect of Papa John’s Tartan Touch: “I think it’s the sense of community, meeting new people, especially when the kids come out […] That’s really rewarding and it’s good to get active as well.”

Wherever you are in Scotland, from Islay to Gala, Ellon to Annan, Penicuik to Paisley, your local club would love to welcome you. You can even check with them to see if they’re providing food, drinks or any extra fun.

If you’re interested, it’s not too late to sign up! Most hubs are running until July, and some haven’t kicked off their season yet, so you can make the most of every single session. We offer single sessions and summer passes with accessible prices. Many hubs are even free.
