What they said

Scotland Women Head Coach Bryan Easson said:

“We’re benchmarking performances just now. I think we saw from our last game against France that our performances are moving forward and we’ll be looking to do the same again.

“If we put in a performance like we did against France and gain respect from an opposition like that then that is us moving in the right direction. We’ve been pleased with aspects of performances and we have to do that again against England.

“Through our performances we’ve been building a crowd- you just have to look at this weekend. Hopefully we can show the crowd what we’re made of. It means everything to all of us to sell-out Hive and everyone should be congratulated. I think there’s a good brand of rugby going on and it’s what people want to see.

“The crowd in the last home game was amazing, so a big thank you to all the supporters who have bought tickets for this weekend”.
