The Vodafone Scotland WXV Series delivered high-octane international rugby to Hive Stadium, packed with physical forward battles and magical moments through the backs. Across the three encounters against Canada, New Zealand and Australia on home soil, your Scotland Women produced several standout scores that brought the home crowd to their feet.
Here is a look back at some of the absolute best finishes from Scotland’s campaign.
Scotland’s breakthrough in the 14th minute against Australia came directly off the training park. Following a strong attacking lineout, where skipper Rachel Malcolm gathered, the ball was brought down into a powerful maul.
After a number of phases, Evie Gallagher picked and crashed through from short range. It was a copy of the two close-range scores she claimed against the Black Ferns and as well as the one she scored against Canada. Following a stint of injury which saw her miss this year’s Guinness Women’s Six Nations, Gallagher instantly returned to usual form and acting as a constant threat inside the five-metre zone.

When Scotland needed to fight back and show some real grit against Canada, the team stepped up. Inside the opposition 22, Evie Gallagher, Rachel Malcolm, and Rhea Clarke came up with a defensive turnover at the maul, quickly shifting the tempo and moving the ball wide down the left touchline.
The play culminated with Shona Campbell gathering the ball out wide. Five metres out from the line, Campbell produced a wonderful piece of skill, stepping sharply to beat the final defender before diving over for her second try in Scottish colours.

Facing World Cup runners-up Canada, Scotland stayed relentless in pursuit of attacking opportunities. The highlight came when stand-off Helen Nelson spotted space behind the high Canadian defensive line and executed a signature weighted kick over the top.
Rhona Lloyd swept up the loose ball in stride, gathering cleanly before storming over the line. The finish marked Lloyd’s 31st try for Scotland, narrowing her gap on the legendary Lucy Millard (37) as second top try scorer for Scotland Women.
