Scotland Head Coach Vern Cotter talks through his RWC 2015 squad selection
Scotland Head Coach Vern Cotter today named an extended training squad to begin preparations for the Rugby World Cup 2015.The 46-man group, which will be reduced to 31 for the tournament in England this September, will convene at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility on Monday 15 June for a range of strength and conditioning tests. We’ve got four games and we want to give these 46 players, and others outwith this initial squad, the opportunity to make the final 31.It gives a good chacne to have a look at all the players, on and off the field, see how thwy go about their business and develop their skills and mindsets. It’ll be very competitive. Hopefully we’ll get the best out of all of them.- – Head Coach Vern Cotter
