Scotland Medical Update
All Scotland players involved in yesterday’s Calcutta Cup loss to England were assessed by the medical team in Edinburgh today. Scotland doctor, James Robson, said: “At this point more than half of the squad will require 48 hours of care and attention to varying degrees of soft tissue injuries.” The most significant involve Richie Gray, David Denton, Alastair Kellock and Nick De Luca, all of whom have dead legs. The Scotland squad will reconvene at Murrayfield tomorrow to begin preparations for their second match of the RBS 6 Nations Championship, away to Wales next Sunday.
