Scotland squad update
The Scotland medical team issued the following squad update after yesterday’s RBS 6 Nations loss to Italy at BT Murrayfield Stadium.Hooker Ross Ford suffered a severe back spasm during the match, forcing him to be replaced by Fraser Brown in the 65th minute.Ford will be managed by the Scotland and Edinburgh Rugby medical teams over the coming week, with the view to becoming available ahead of the Calcutta Cup clash with England at Twickenham on Saturday 14 March (kick-off 5pm).A number of other players required attention of the medical team, however none are currently considered a cause for concern for the next Championship match.
