    PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    The Emma Wassell Premier Ticket Giveaway is organised by Scottish Rugby Limited.

    When you enter this Prize Draw, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

    1. The Promoter

    The Promoter of this Prize Draw is Scottish Rugby Limited, a company incorporated in Scotland with registered number SC132061 and having its registered office at Murrayfield, Edinburgh EH12 5PJ (“the Promoter”).

    1. The Prize Draw and how to enter
      • These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Emma Wassell Premier Ticket Giveaway (“the Prize Draw”) running and being promoted by Scottish Rugby via an email to Scotland Supports Club Plus (“SSC Plus”) members.
      • To enter the Prize Draw, Entrants must complete the electronic form that can be found via the link, in the email referenced in condition 2.1. In completing the form, the Entrant will need to confirm that they can attend the Emma Wassell documentary premier event on 2 April 2026 at Everyman Cinema, St James Quarter, Edinburgh at 5pm and must submit their name, email address and postcode. Any entries submitted to the Promoter in any other manner or medium will be disqualified from the Prize Draw.  Only one entry per person is permitted.
      • The opening date for Prize Draw entries is Friday 27 March 2026 at 00:01. Entries must comply with the conditions set out in conditions 2.2 and 3 and any entries that do not comply (in the sole opinion of the Promoter) will be disqualified from the Prize Draw.
      • The Prize Draw will close on Sunday 29 March 2026 at 23:59 (“the Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified from the Prize Draw.
      • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
      • Two (2) winners will be chosen on Monday 30 March 2026 by random draw performed by an automated process.

    2. Eligibility
      • An “Entrant” is a person submitting an entry to the Prize Draw, in accordance with condition 2.2.
      • The Prize Draw is not open to employees of the Promoter or their immediate family or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Prize Draw.
      • The Prize Draw is only open to current SSC Plus members.
      • Entrants must be over 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom.
      • In entering the Prize Draw, the Entrant confirms that they are eligible to do so and to claim the Prize (as defined in condition 4 below) if they are a winner. The Promoter may require Entrants to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
      • The Promoter will not accept Prize Draw entries that are:
    3. automatically generated by computer;
    4. completed by third parties or in bulk;
    5. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
    6. photocopies and not originals; or
    7. The Prize
      • Each winner will receive one (1) ticket to the Emma Wassell documentary premier event on 2 April 2026 at the Everyman Cinema, St James Quarter, Edinburgh to commence at 5pm. Food and Drink shall be provided at the event.  The Prize does not include the cost of travel to and from the Everyman Cinema, St James Quarter, Edinburgh, spending money, tax or personnel expenses.  Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winners. (“the Prize”).
      • The Prize is non-transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
      • The Prize shall be supplied by the Promoter.
      • The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
      • The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
    8. Notification of winning entry
      • The winners, selected in accordance with condition 2.6, will be notified by email (using the details provided at entry) on Monday 30 March 2026 that they are a winner. The Prize or instructions on how to receive the Prize will be sent to the winners by the Promoter within 24 hours of being notified of their win.
      • If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within twenty four (24) hours of being notified by the Promoter or if a winner is unable to accept any element of the Prize due to ineligibility, the Prize in its entirety will be withdrawn and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process set out at condition 2.6.
      • The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of a winner.
      • The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winners to anyone who writes to the Promoter at the address set out in condition 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the Prize Draw.
      • If you object to either or both of your surname and, county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the Promoter will not provide the information to members of the public, but must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority (“ASA”) on request by the ASA, to comply with our legal obligation to do so.
    9. Data protection
      • As part of submitting an entry to the Prize Draw, Entrants are required to submit certain personal details, including their name, email address and postcode.
      • The legal basis for which the Promoter will collect personal data in respect of Prize Draw Entrants are (i) its legitimate interest of administering the Prize Draw, and (ii) to comply with its legal obligations in respect of Prize Draw.
      • The Promoter will use the personal data of Entrants as follows:
        • to contact the winners and to send the Prize to them;
        • to contact an alternative winner and to send the Prize to them if a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time; and
        • to comply with the legal obligation to provide the winners’ surname and county in response to requests for this information from third parties, subject to conditions 5.4 and 5.5.
      • The Promoter will comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation when collecting and otherwise processing personal data in connection with this Prize Draw. Any such personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy – Scottish Rugby.
    10. General
      • These Terms and Conditions and this Prize Draw are governed by the laws of Scotland. By entering into this Prize Draw each Entrant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
      • Entrants to the Prize Draw are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry to the Prize Draw.
      • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrants that breach theseTerms and Conditions or any entries that, in the sole opinion of the Promoter, are in any way obscene, violent, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful or would damage the reputation of the Promoter. Where the Promoter disqualifies any Entrants in accordance with this condition 7.3, the Promoter shall remove any affected entries from the Prize Draw.
      • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this Prize Draw at any time. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice by posting changes to https://scottishrugby.org/. The Promoter will only notify Entrants of changes if required to do so by law.
      • Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any Entrant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering the Prize Draw or taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or that of its employees, agents or distributors. Your statutory rights are not affected.
