Scotland Under-20 Prepare For Battle With Trip To Culloden
Ahead of Friday’s 6 Nations Championship game against Ireland at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Inverness, Scotland under-20 have paid a visit to Culloden Battlefield, scene of the 1746 confrontation between the Jacobites and forces under the command of the Duke of Cumberland. The young Scots were given a tour of the evocative site, which features a memorial to “the gallant Highlanders who fought for Scotland and Bonnie Prince Charlie”, before being presented with their match jerseys by defence coach Simon Cross.
