RAIL DISRUPTION

ScotRail is urging fans travelling to the match to allow additional time for travel, check their entire journey before they head to the station, and to be patient as journeys will take longer than usual due to the number of people travelling. In addition, after the game fans are being encouraged to travel straight to Edinburgh Waverley to catch their train, or postpone their journey until later in the evening.

This is being caused station caused by the redevelopment of an adjacent building at Haymarket Station which has reduced the capacity within the station by half. As a result, longer waiting times are expected for trains home due to the limited space available.

You can find out more information on the ScotRail website.

HELP US KEEP BT MURRAYFIELD SUSTAINABLE

With the help of our official waste and recycling partner Biffa, we managed to recycle 49% of our matchday waste at BT Murrayfield and the DAM Health Stadium during the Autumn Nations Series last November. The remaining general waste was converted from waste to energy – we are proud that none of our waste goes to land fill.

With Biffa’s help we have introduced new segregated bins to the stadium to improve our direct recycling stats and would like to encourage everyone attending this weekend to use these recycling and general waste bins to dispose of your litter responsibly and help us continue to keep matchdays more sustainable.
