Scotland Women Announce Tri-Nations 7S Squad
The Scotland Women 7s squad for Sunday’s home tri-nations tournament was announced this afternoon (Thursday 29 May). The tournament, which sees Scotland face age-old rivals England and Wales over two legs, coincides with the final day of the Emirates Airline Edinburgh Sevens and is the climax of the festival of rugby on the Murrayfield back pitches.The Scotland Women 7s squad for Sunday’s home tri-nations tournament was announced this afternoon (Thursday 29 May). The tournament, which sees Scotland face age-old rivals England and Wales over two legs, coincides with the final day of the Emirates Airline Edinburgh Sevens and is the climax of the festival of rugby on the Murrayfield back pitches. The squad of 12 players was selected from an initial pool of 20, all of whom are involved in SWRU performance squads. The team that has been coached by Bob Easson since March 2008 will be led, this weekend, by Kenny Christie, the SWRU U18 Head Coach.
