Scotland A v Georgia live on BBC ALBA Following this afternoon’s Scotland team announcement, six players have been added to Andy Robinson’s Scotland A squad ahead of Friday night’s clash with Georgia at Firhill, kick-off 6pm. Meanwhile, the Scotland A’ team fixture against Georgia will be broadcast live on BBC ALBA. The A team, who will face Georgia’s full national side at Firhill, were last broadcast live on home soil when they played South Africa in Melrose back in 1994. Scotland A’ team captain, Alastair Kellock, said: This is a massive game for the Scotland A’ team because we’re playing Georgia’s full national team. It’s certain to be a very physical game and the A’ team have a very good winning record at home and away, so fans at Firhill and watching on BBC ALBA will hopefully enjoy an exciting and entertaining game. Discussions with BBC ALBA, the newly launched Gaelic digital media service, on an extensive broadcast package are at an advanced stage and the broadcasting of this latest game illustrates the continuing development of successful partnership between Scottish Rugby and BBC ALBA.
