Speaking to the girls at Hughenden, where the game will be played, T-Bone said: Ill only be wearing one cap on Sunday. Ill be cheering on Canada all the way, but I do wish the Scotland Women all the best.I know Quentin Fyffe [Canada Women’s head coach] really well, he was our fullback at the last World Cup, and Ric Suggit speaks very highly of the Women’s team. I think they were as high as third or fourth in the world at one point so let’s hope they put in a display worthy of that ranking. It’s also great to see international rugby coming to Hughenden. Having played there with Glasgow for many years, I know how great the ground is in terms of supporters getting up close to the field and all the action. It’s a fantastic place to come and watch rugby. Everyone who comes down on Sunday will have a blast.Scotland Women player and fellow prop, Heather Lockhart, added: We last played Canada over there back in 2005 in a World Cup warm-up match which we narrowly lost so let’s hope we reap the benefits of the home advantage this time and get a really good support. On the venue for Sunday’s game, Lockhart continued: Hughenden is where I play my rugby so it’s fantastic to have the game here. It’s an exciting time for sport in Glasgow with the 2014 Commonwealth Games decision just around the corner. Hillhead/Jordanhill has a thriving Women’s section so let’s hope those that are catching the sporting bug will give rugby a go.Entry to Sunday’s Women’s international is free.
