Monroe Reuben Job was born in Melrose, and first picked up a rugby ball at Selkirk Rhinos.
Monroe has represented Scotland U16 Reds and Scotland U18 on the national stage, before making the step up to Scotland U20.
In his career so far he has played for Selkirk High School, Selkirk Youth Club, Selkirk RFC and since 2023, Southern Knights.
During his childhood he also played football, before deciding the rugby ball was the one he would keep hold of.
