Freddy Robert Douglas was born in Edinburgh and is a product of Stewart's Melville College.
Freddy played for Stewart’s Melville College team from 2009-2023, before joining Edinburgh Rugby’s FOSROC Scottish Rugby academy. He also had a stint with Edinburgh Vikings from 2018-2021. He was part of the FOSROC Future XV in 2023.
Freddy represented Scotland Under-18’s in Dublin in 2023.
He also used to compete in shot putt.
