Ben White

Scrum-half

Ben White

Ben White made his first appearance for Leicester Tigers aged just 17, in a testimonial for Marcos Ayerza against Argentina at Welford Road.

He then made his Premiership debut against Harlequins in October 2015; aged 17 years and 151 days, he became the youngest player ever to feature for Leicester in the Premiership.

In 2016, White went on loan to Doncaster Knights, and became their youngest ever player as well when he made his debut against London Welsh in April.

After six years with Leicester, White moved to London Irish in 2021. He scored three tries for Irish in his 10 Premiership matches, earning him his first Scotland call up ahead of the 2022 Guinness Six Nations.

He enjoyed a debut to remember, scoring a try a matter of minutes into his first appearance as part of the 2022 Calcutta Cup-winning effort, and repeated the feat during the 2023 iteration against the Auld Enemy.
