Jack Dempsey has impressed from the moment he donned the Glasgow Warriors jersey after a move to the club from NSW Waratahs in 2021.
An abrasive open field runner, Dempsey represented the country of his birth, Australia, 14 times between 2017 and 2019 including at the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
However, an ability to earn selection on the basis of his maternal grandfather having emigrated from Scotland led to his inclusion by Gregor Townsend for the 2022 Autumn Nations Series squad, from which point Dempsey has gone on to feature prominently.
