Ceitidh Ainsworth began her rugby journey aged 13-years-old in 2017 at Stirling County. 

The fly-half has had a glittering career at youth level, winning the Girls U15 National Youth Cup in 2018 and 2019, and the U18 title in 2019. 

Ceitidh was an instrumental player for Stirling County, helping them win their first Premiership title in 2023 during her first season of senior rugby. Stirling County went to enjoy back-to-back league wins, with Ceitidh being the leading try scorer across the league with 13 tries. She also successfully kicked 44 conversions. 

In 2022, Ceitidh represented Scotland U18 in the Six Nations Festival and progressed to the Scotland Futures programme in 2023, featuring in their summer tour to Italy.  

Ceitidh was named in the Glasgow Warriors Celtic Challenge team for the 2023/24 season and made seven appearances. 

She is currently a supported player at the East Regional Training Centre.
