She played for Eastern Counties at U15–U18 levels and advanced her rugby and academic career at Hartpury College and Gloucester-Hartpury Centre of Excellence.

In 2024, she joined Loughborough University, continuing to play in the BUCS Super League.

Outside of rugby, Lily also played county-level basketball.
