Nicole Flynn began her rugby journey at Stirling County at the age of 15 after swimming competitively and practicing aikido from the age of three.

Transitioning from junior to senior rugby swiftly, she contributed to Stirling’s title winning successes in the Women’s Premiership in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.

She earned selections to Scotland U18 Women in 2023, playing in the Six Nations Festival and in 2024 featured regularly for Edinburgh Rugby in the Celtic Challenge, making six appearances.

Following on from her strong performance in the competition, Nicole earned her first Scotland Women call up ahead of the 2024 Women’s Guinness Six Nations.

Later that year the centre was called up to the Scotland Women U20 side and played against Italy in their opening match of the Six Nations Summer Series, scoring Scotland’s opening try. Unfortunately Nicole sustained an ankle injury and was ruled out for the rest of the tournament.

In October 2024 Nicole was confirmed as one of 45 players to receive support through Scottish Rugby’s Academy programme.

Nicole is currently in her second year at the University of Edinburgh studying Biological Science.
