Up close with the Scotland squad in the north
Scotland’s players had a three day training camp in Perthshire and the Highlands this week in preparation for their three-match tournament in South Africa in June. The players and coaches visited Blairgowrie in Perthshire and Grantown-on-Spey (see video above) and Aviemore in Invernessshire and received a warm welcome from the local communities. Scotland captain Kelly Brown reckoned it was the ideal preparation for the tour which sees Scotland compete in a quadrangular tournament also involving Samoa, South Africa and Italy. The Scotland party leaves Edinburgh tomorrow with the first game against Samoa in Durban next Saturday (8 June).
