After Samoa U20 beat Tonga U20 to become the sixth team to qualify for the 2024 World Rugby U20 Trophy at the start of March, it has been confirmed that Scotland U20 will face Japan U20, Hong Kong China U20 and Samoa U20 in Pool A.
Netherlands U20 and Uruguay U20 have been named in Pool B, with a team from Africa and the Americas still to qualify.
The Scotland side will be hoping to regain their spot in the top competition, the World Rugby U20 Championship. To be promoted, they must win the tournament overall.
