Tell us about your relationship with the city?
I first came to Edinburgh as a tourist to visit a friend that lives here and I fell in love with the city. From then I started looking for work in Edinburgh so I could move here.
Why is Edinburgh a great place for a six nations weekend?
There’s so many good food and drink options, there’s so many activities you can get done in a weekend away and it is a really walkable city.
Where would you suggest fans go for the best pre-match coffee?
My favourite place for coffee in the city is Williams and Johnson which is a roastery in Leith. You can go for a wander around the shore and the docks which is a really nice thing to do on a good day. My order varies, I’m generally a flat-white but if I’m feeling really strong, I’ll go a short-black.
Post- match meal?
I really like tacos. So, I’d say Bodega on Leith Walk. Excellent tacos, excellent spicy margaritas.
Post-match pint?
If you are in Edinburgh, you have to have a Tennent’s, and I would say go to Teuchter’s Landing in Leith.
Sunday after brunch?
Brunch… I’m going to say The Pantry in Stockbridge this time. Mix things up. Their food is excellent and that sets you up for a really nice morning in what is a lovely part of the city to wander round.
What’s your favourite part of the city and why?
I love the beach and Portobello beach is so accessible. If it’s stormy it doesn’t matter, the sea being tumultuous is nice. If it’s on a sunny day you can get in for a dook.
And where should fans be when the anthems start?
It has to be Hive Stadium.
