PLAYER WELFARE
Scottish Rugby is committed to putting player welfare at the heart of the game.
The safety of all participants must be the primary consideration in all participation decisions.
We all have a part to play when it comes to player welfare – coaches, players, referees, parents and volunteers. Scottish Rugby is here to help its key stakeholders best implement practices for enhanced welfare.
This includes guidance regarding mental wellbeing, injury prevention and management, concussion education and policies, age-banding, gender participation eligibility, illicit drugs and any other rugby welfare related matters both on and off the field.
Below are links to documents, policies and support that will assist you in implementing best practices across a range of welfare matters.
