Scotland aiming for record crowd this Saturday
Following Scotland’s epic 29-21 TikTok Women's Six Nations win over Italy at an electric DAM Health Stadium on Saturday, fans have snapped up their tickets for this weekend’s game against Ireland, with over 3,600 supporters heading to the capital to support the team.
Due to the high demand, Scottish Rugby has now opened seating in the Murrayfield Stand and additional standing in the Lothian Stand for Saturday’s TikTok Women’s Six Nations match against Ireland (Saturday 29 April, kick-off 7.30pm).
Scotland’s final game in this year’s Championship could break the previous record crowd of 3,988 achieved for the match against England at DAM Health Stadium in 2022.
Head Coach Bryan Easson is urging fans to turn up and support the team: “Support at DAM Health Stadium was amazing for the team at the weekend. The players have talked of the noise and the energy that the crowd brings.”
Christine Belisle also praised the home crowd after Saturday’s game: “The energy that they bring, you feed off of it, so it’s incredible to have so many people here to cheer us on, and to be able to meet all the fans after is really special.”
Get along and support the Scotland team this Saturday against Ireland and be part of a record-breaking crowd. Adult tickets are £15, Students £10, U18 £5, and U12’s go free with a paying adult ticket until midnight on Friday (28 April), booking fees apply. Secure your tickets now HERE.
