2026 SRU AGM Meeting date
The Scottish Rugby Union AGM 2026 will be held on Wednesday 2 December 2026 at 6.00pm at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on a hybrid basis. Participants will be able to attend in person or online. Further information and formal notice of the meeting and the full business to be covered will follow in due course.
Vice-President Election 2026
The 2026 AGM will include the election of a new Vice-President. A copy of the role specification for candidates is available to download below. Nominations with accompanying forms and personal statement must be submitted by 5pm on 31 August 2026 either electronically to [email protected] or delivered in person or by post to:

Please note that nominations submitted electronically should bear a scanned or electronic version of the signatory’s actual signature.
A nominee for Vice-President must be a member of or affiliated to a Full Member club or Associate Member club of Scottish Rugby Union.
A nomination must be proposed and seconded by two Full Member clubs of Scottish Rugby Union and be accompanied by the following:
a) forms signed by an office bearer of each of the Full Member clubs proposing and seconding the nomination; and
b) a form or forms signed by an office bearer of 10 additional Full Member clubs signifying satisfaction as to the suitability of the nominee to be elected; and
c) a statement from the candidate setting out their standing within Scottish rugby and relevant skills to carry out the role of Vice President.
