It’s raining tries here, and this time it’s France who reduce the arrears through their captain Dupont. A knock-on gives them a chance to build and Attisogbe flings it inside to his scrum-half. Ramos converts.

Wow, the link up is slick from the scrum and Sione has ball in hand. A short offload gives Tom Jordan a chance, and he needs no second invitation to find the line from there. It’s converted from virtually under the posts by Finn. It’s 47-14.

Relentless pressure from Scotland sees both Dempsey and Jones land just short of the line. It’s not quite the same story for Pierre Schoeman – who lands the crucial blow on the far side. Finn Russell lands the kick to send us ahead. Jalibert will also be sin-binned for the next ten for repeated French infringements.

A perfectly executed set-piece sees Matt Fagerson take it from the maul. It’s Turner who’s next to have ball in hand and he pops off an exquisite reverse pass for the onrushing Steyn to race through. Russell can’t quite find the mark with the kick.

Les Bleus take the lead with some combination play between their wingers. Play moves through the midfield before Bielle-Biarrey kicks through for his opposite winger Theo Attisogbe to gather on the run and cross. Again Ramos makes the extras.

Dupont rips the ball in the tackle and France have a man over deep in Scotland territory. It goes to the left for Bielle-Biarrey who acrobatically finishes in the corner. Ramos is clinical with the kick and we’re back level.

The visitors enjoying some territory in the Scotland 22 after big carries from Guillard and Ollivon. From the ruck Jalibert’s short grubber kick jumps up but Attisogbe can’t gather and knocks on, Scotland have the scrum.

Solid Defence From Scotland

France come straight back and apply some serious pressure to the try line. Rory Darge brings their first foray to a halt with some expert jackaling in the ruck. From the scrum Scotland get the penalty as the France pack collapse.

Scotland open the scoring in stunning fashion. After making ground with some strong carrying and it’s that man Graham who comes in with a clean line break to go under the posts, sending Scottish Gas Murrayfield into raptures. Russell converts with ease
