The first of three major Tests at Hive Stadium in this inaugural year of the new Vodafone Scotland WXV Series. This is part of the all-new WXV Global Series presented by Mitsubishi Electric that sees the top 12 teams in the world competing home-and-away over two seasons around the September/October international window.
Scotland have played Canada several times, including at four Rugby World Cups (1994, 2002, 2010 and 2025). The last time they met in Scotland was at Scotstoun in 2018, when the visitors won narrowly 25-28. Ranked 3rd in the world, Canada beat New Zealand, Australia and Scotland on their way to the final of the 2025 Rugby World Cup where they lost to eventual Champions England. Hive Stadium
Hive Stadium sits next door to Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Located to the west of Edinburgh the Murrayfield campus is well served by public transport, with its own tram stop in addition to a number of bus stops serviced by several routes.
