Academy sides in action at Oriam on Sunday
13 Jan 2024The U17 FOSROC Regional Academy sides play in festival finals tomorrow.
The fixtures will take place at Oriam in Edinburgh, with the first game kicking off at 10am.
Edinburgh U17 will play Glasgow & the West U17 in the final, whilst Borders & East Lothian U17 will play Caledonia U17 in the 3rd/4th playoff.
The U18 regional sides will also be in action, replicating the same fixtures as the U17s in friendly matches ahead of their finals next Sunday.
Head of Pathways John Fletcher said: “It’s great to see our regional sides back out and in action again.
“We want the best young players in Scotland playing against each other as often as possible and representing their regions in this format, adds that element of competition and pressure which the players will only benefit from.
“The coaches and players have been focusing on the blueprint curriculum in training and everyone is looking forward to watching them bring it to life in the indoor conditions at the Oriam.”
