Scotland U19 Men spent a week in Parma, offering players an opportunity to push for 2026 Junior World Championship selection.
They played Italy U19 twice while they were away. The first match was won 55-19 by Italy, with Scotland’s scores coming from Max Garry, Harvey Preston and Ollie Anderson.
The second fixture ended 47-28 to our hosts, with two tries from Daniel Kelly and scores from William May and Boyd Cooper for Scotland.

The travelling squad included several players who featured in the 2026 U20 Six Nations for Scotland U20, as well as a number of the NTP players.
This is the second year where Scotland U19 fixtures have taken place at this time of year. In 2025, they faced England U19 in Newcastle before hosting Italy U19 in Melrose.
Euan Clark took on the Head Coach role, and coached the backs and focused on attack. Gary Strain was the Forwards Coach role, and Craig Jackson lead the defence.
