Running annually between May and July, Tartan Touch is designed to provide a simplified version of rugby with the aim of attracting players of all abilities, ages and levels of experience who are looking to improve their fitness through simple and social activity.

Starting in 2018, the format has seen considerable growth from the original 20 hubs selected, with over 6,000 participants in previous iterations.

Regional Lead Manager for Caledonia Chris Pacey said: “Tartan Touch continues to be an excellent programme that offers clubs a platform to connect with their local communities, and gives the opportunity to people from all ages, abilities and backgrounds to take part in a really enjoyable form of the game.

“It also allows participants to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of playing rugby at their local community club during the summer months. We’re very excited to see Tartan Touch kicking off in May across the country.”

The three new hubs for 2025 are labelled with an asterisk. For event details of each hub, please head to this webpage.
