PROFILE

After playing his youth rugby for both the Biggar RFC and his school Biggar High School, Fergus was named as one of the fifteen FOSROC Scottish Rugby contracted academy players aligned to Glasgow Warriors for the 2023/24 season.

In 2023, he made six appearances for the FOSROC Future XV outfit in the FOSROC Super Series Championship before making his Scotland U20 debut against Wales in February 2024.

His grandfather, Bill Watson, has 10 Scotland caps and is a former Chief Executive of Scottish Rugby.
