WXV Global Series 2026

The WXV Global Series introduces a new format featuring the top 18 national teams in the world, delivering certainty, increased, meaningful competition and driving long-term performance and commercial sustainability in the women’s game.

The top 12 teams (Australia, Canada, England, France, Italy, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, USA, Wales) will compete in a home-and-away, cross-regional touring model within a newly aligned September – October international window. Significantly, unions will retain domestic commercial rights to their home fixtures, recognising the importance of growing the value of the women’s game in each country, and supporting reinvestment in player pathways and national programmes.

Fixtures

We will begin our campaign against the 2025 Women’s World Cup runners-up Canada on Saturday 12 September, before welcoming the Black Ferns the following weekend and concluding our home WXV fixtures against the Aussies on 26 September.

Scotland’s away fixtures will take place against Australia on 17 October and 23 October.

Individual match tickets for each of the WXV Global Series are live now through the Scottish Rugby ticketing portal. Three back-to-back blockbuster weekends will make this a September to remember with world-class rugby and an incredible, family-friendly atmosphere.

The Scotland Women Season Package

To ensure fans do not miss a single moment of the action, the Scotland Women Season Package makes its return for the 2026/27 season. Guaranteeing a seat at all six home fixtures across both Hive Stadium and Scottish Gas Murrayfield, the package also offers exclusive, closer-to-the-action benefits. Season Package holders will gain access to attend at least one open Scotland training session during the year, alongside a dedicated opportunity to meet the squad in person.

For supporters who cannot commit to all six fixtures, individual match tickets will also be available from tomorrow’s pre-sale.

Best Seat, Best Price

In a direct effort to make elite rugby accessible to all, Scottish Rugby is implementing a simplified, flat-pricing structure for the Women’s season. All seats at all games have the same pricing (with adult, under-18 and under-12 levels) no matter what the game or where you sit. This means you can choose your seat(s) for every game, whether it’s in the East Stand at Scottish Gas Murrayfield for the Scotland v Ireland game or the centre of the Lothian Stand at Hive Stadium for any of the others.

Furthermore, the popular ‘Best Seat, Best Price’ early bird offer returns, expanding this season to cover all six home matches, including individual tickets and packages. Available for a limited time only, this introductory pricing delivers exceptional value, enabling a family of four (two adults and two under-12s) to secure prime location seats at any international match for just £40.
