2023/24 BKT URC Schedule Confirmed

The 2023/24 BKT URC fixtures for Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors have been announced. Glasgow Warriors will open the season at home to Leinster, while Edinburgh’s home opener comes in Round 2 against South African side Emirates Lions.

Franco Smith’s men will welcome the Leinstermen on Sunday 22 October (kick-off 4pm), with Round One fixtures scheduled to avoid broadcasting conflicts with the Rugby World Cup semi-finals taking place the same weekend.

The festive double-header with Edinburgh sees Glasgow kick-off their 1872 Cup defence at home on Friday 22 December (kick-off 7.35pm), before travelling to BT Murrayfield on Saturday 30 December (kick-off 3pm) to round out 2023.

Glasgow conclude their regular season with the visit of Zebre Parma to Scotstoun in Round 18. All nine regular-season BKT URC home matches, as well as Glasgow Warrior’s two home Champions Cup pool fixtures and The Famous Grouse Pre-Season Friendly match against Zebre Parma at Scotstoun, are included in a 2023/24 Season Ticket.

Friday night fixtures are back in the Scottish capital as league organisers confirmed the schedule for the upcoming 2023/24 BKT United Rugby Championship season. Five of the capital club’s nine regular home fixtures in 2023/24 will take place on Friday nights, giving fans the chance to once again kickstart their weekends with Edinburgh Rugby.

Coupled with two Friday night home pre-season fixtures against Connacht and Bath Rugby – and EPCR Challenge Cup matches yet to be announced – the Friday night lights will once again be shining this autumn.

Fans can look forward to a number of mouth-watering home fixtures in 2023/24 as Emirates Lions, Connacht, Vodacom Bulls, Benetton, Glasgow Warriors, Ospreys, Scarlets, Zebre Parma and Munster all visit the Scottish capital.

Edinburgh Rugby close out the campaign with back-to-back fixtures under Friday night lights, against Zebre Parma (10 May, kick-off 7.35pm) and then BKT URC champions Munster (17 May, 7.35pm).

Securing a 2023/24 Season Ticket remains the best value way to your guarantee your place in the capital for every regular season home game in both the BKT United Rugby Championship and EPCR Challenge Cup.

Buying a Season Ticket will save Edinburgh Rugby supporters, on average, around 30% on matchday prices, while also offering an array of benefits including exclusive open training sessions and member events, as well as priority access to knockout BKT URC and European match tickets.

With an interest free, direct debit payment plan (up to four monthly payments) and student tickets starting at £99, there is a Season Ticket Membership for everyone to join another massive campaign in the Scottish capital.
