Inter-District Squads confirmed for November campaign

The four districts will go head-to-head as they battle to win the IDC title, with each side playing three matches across the month.

The campaign gets underway on Friday 6 November, with Edinburgh District hosting the South District at Stoneyhill in Musselburgh, while Glasgow & West District take on Caledonia Reds at Braidholm. Both fixtures kick off at 7.30pm.

Round Two takes place on Saturday 14 November, as Caledonia Reds face the South District at Rubislaw in Aberdeen, with a 2pm kick-off. Glasgow & West District then host Edinburgh District at Braidholm, with kick-off at 3pm.

The final round of fixtures follows on Saturday 21 November, with Edinburgh District welcoming Caledonia Reds to Malleny Park in Currie, while the South District take on Glasgow & West District at The Greenyards in Melrose. Both matches kick off at 5pm.

Performances throughout the IDC will also contribute to selection for the Scotland Club XV squad, which will host Ireland Club XV in February. Players will have the opportunity to push for selection through their performances across the three rounds of the Inter-District campaign.

Further details on the Scotland Club XV squad and the February fixture will be announced in due course.
