7 Apr 2026

More than 25,000 tickets have now been sold for the upcoming Scotland Women v England's Red Roses fixture at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, with just over ten days remaining until kick-off.

The milestone represents a significant moment for the women’s game in Scotland, underlining continued growth in both audience interest and matchday attendance for the national team.

The fixture, which will see Scotland take on current Women’s World Rugby champions England, is set to be the most highly attended standalone, ticketed women’s sporting event ever hosted in Scotland.

The rising ticket sales reflect increasing engagement across a broad audience, from dedicated rugby supporters to new fans attending their first live women’s fixture. The event forms part of Scottish Rugby’s wider commitment to growing visibility, accessibility and support for the women’s game at all levels.
